Mississippi shooting: Another incident of firing has come to light in America. Six people have been shot and killed in Tate County, Mississippi. One person has been arrested in connection with the incident.
Mississippi: The shooting incidents in America are not taking the name of stopping. In the coming days, incidents of firing are being seen in different cities of America. Recently six people have been shot dead in Tate County, Mississippi. One person has been arrested in connection with the incident.
Firing in arkabutla community
Following the incident, Tate County Sheriff’s Officer Brad Lance said all of the shootings occurred within the Arkabutla community and one shooting occurred inside the store on Arkabutla Road where one person was shot and killed. A woman also died inside a house on Arkabutla Dam Road. Her husband was injured during the incident, but it is unclear whether he was shot.
Suspect taken into custody
Tate County deputies took the suspect into custody after they spotted the suspect inside a vehicle on Arkabutla Dam Road. The identity of the suspect has not been revealed. Following the arrests, officers found four more people dead.
Governor Tate Reeves informed about the incident by tweeting
Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves tweeted about the incident and said that one person has been taken into custody in connection with the incident. The governor said that at present the police are considering the hand of the attacker alone in this incident. However, it has been said to get complete information after investigation. In another tweet, Reeves said the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI) has been asked to assist with the investigation.
