US: Two modern combat helicopters Black Hawk (Blackhawk Helicopter) of the world’s most powerful country America (USA) have crashed. According to news agency, a spokesman for the US Army said that nine soldiers were killed when two US Army Black Hawk helicopters crashed during a routine training mission over Kentucky. Fort Campbell’s public affairs office said the crew members were flying two HH-60 Black Hawk helicopters operated by the 101 st Airborne Division. The plane crashed in Trigg County, Kentucky late Wednesday night.
The Black Hawk has a range of up to 1,381 miles. They can fly for hundreds of km on a single fuel load. Their lift capacity is also said to be good. The US military claims that with its external cargo hook, the Black Hawk can lift 8,000 pounds of cargo.
