The Collin County Sheriff’s Office has expressed the possibility of some people being injured in the crossfire incident. The Allen Police Department has advised people to avoid going to the area on the official Twitter handle.
More than 30 police vehicles blocked the entrance to the mall, with several ambulances at the scene. A Live0 broadcast from the news station also showed armored trucks and other law enforcement vehicles stationed outside the huge outdoor mall. Ambulances were also rushed to the spot from several neighboring cities. Meanwhile, the Dallas office of the US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives also responded.
