Uttar Pradesh: On Thursday, an official said that at least two people died and six others critically injured after a car rammed into a poultry van in Ballia of Uttar Pradesh. After receiving information about this incident local people and police reached on the spot.

Uttar Pradesh: On Thursday, an official said that at least two people died and six others critically injured after a car rammed into a poultry van in Ballia of Uttar Pradesh. After receiving information about this incident local people and police reached on the spot.

They added that the incident happened near Bidhara village on Farsatar road of Ubhaon. A teenager Suraj Kumar from Bidhara village who was going to bring milk on a bicycle, also got stuck under the vehicle and suffered injuries.

According to the police information, The deceased were identified as Suryakesh Rajbhar (72) and Binda Devi (55) while the injured were Mahatma, Ani Kumar, Geeta Devi, Rambabu and Suraj Kumar. The family was reportedly traveling to Bihar’s Bixar to attend a funeral.

Police said the incident came to light when a Bolero car carrying six members of a family collided with a poultry van coming from the opposite direction. Due to the force of the collision, both the vehicles were completely damaged.

After the incident, the injured were taken to Community Health Center Sier from where they were referred to Prakash Hospital. Police said that the condition of Suraj Kumar and Geeta Devi was critical. After the accident, the driver of the poultry van fled from the spot. The reason behind the accident is not yet known.
