According to the case, in the year 2003, the then jailer of Lucknow, SK Awasthi, had filed a case against Ansari at the Alambagh police station, alleging that he was threatened with death if he ordered a search of people who had come to meet Mukhtar Ansari in jail. was given.
Awasthi had also alleged that Ansari had even pointed a pistol at him while abusing him. Ansari was acquitted by the trial court in this case, against whom the government had filed an appeal.
Earlier, according to ED sources, more than 100 benami properties and documents of suspicious cases have been found in the documents found here in the raids of Mukhtar and his close associates. The ED has also sent notices to the people involved in the raid. From Monday, these people have to present their side in front of ED.
