Lucknow: The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh has transferred eight senior IPS officers. According to the official statement, Lucknow Joint Police Commissioner Piyush Mordia has been made Additional Director General (ADG) Zone of Lucknow.
New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh chief Yogi Adityanath has made a major reshuffle in the state’s IPS officers. Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh has transferred eight senior IPS officers. According to departmental sources, another transfer list is expected to come soon. According to the official statement, Lucknow Joint Police Commissioner Piyush Mordia has been made Additional Director General (ADG) Zone of Lucknow.

Deputy Inspector General of Police Devipatan Zone Gonda Upendra Kumar Agarwal has been made Joint Commissioner of Police Law and Order Lucknow Commissionerate. IPS Amarendra Prasad Singh has been transferred from Deputy Inspector General of Police, Ayodhya Zone, to Inspector General of Police, Devipatan Zone, Gonda.
IPS Praveen Kumar has been transferred from Inspector General of Police Meerut Zone to Inspector General of Police Ayodhya Zone. IPS Nachiketa Jha has been made Inspector General of Police, Agra Zone, as Inspector General of Police, Meerut Zone. IPS Deepak Kumar has been transferred from Inspector General of Police Aligarh Zone to Inspector General of Police Agra Zone.
IPS Suresh Rao A Kulkarni has been posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Aligarh Zone, from Additional Commissioner of Police, Kanpur Commissionerate. IPS Amit Verma has been posted as Additional Commissioner of Police Kanpur Commissionerate from Deputy Inspector General of Police SIT Headquarters.
