According to the information, railway officials said that there was an incident of stone pelting on the train between Mania and Jajau stations of Agra division at around 11 am on Wednesday. In this, the window glass of seat number 13-14 of C-7 coach was broken. After the information of this incident, the railway team reached the spot.
Prashasti Srivastava, PRO of Agra Railway Division, said that the matter is being investigated. No passenger was hurt in the incident. This is not the first such incident, even before this Vande Bharat Superfast Express train running between Bhopal to Nizamuddin station was pelted with stones.
Recently, stones have been thrown at Vande Bharat going from Gorakhpur to Lucknow, in which many window panes were broken. According to information, miscreants pelted stones at the Vande Bharat Express (22549) train going from Gorakhpur to Lucknow. The glasses of many windows were shattered in this.
The window glasses of coach number C1, C3 and executive coach were broken due to stone pelting. Passengers got scared due to the sudden stone pelting on the train and there was chaos inside the coach. However, none of the passengers were hurt in this.
Earlier, when the Vande Bharat train started in many states including Gujarat, Bengal, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, such incidents have come to the fore. Suspected accused have also been arrested in many states in these cases. At the same time, incidents of stone pelting on trains are coming to the fore in UP as well.
