Uttarakhand Chief Minister Dhami Embarks on a Three-Day UK Visit to Woo Investors; Plans Roadshow in London

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is set to conduct roadshows in London and Birmingham during his three-day visit to the United Kingdom, with the objective of attracting potential investors to the state.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has commenced a three-day visit to the United Kingdom with the objective of attracting potential investors for the forthcoming state Global Investor Summit scheduled for December in Dehradun.

According to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office, CM Dhami will host roadshows in London on September 26 and in Birmingham on the following day. The government is actively promoting the summit in foreign nations to draw investors, the statement noted.

During his visit, the delegation led by Dhami will engage in meetings with major global business entities in London and Birmingham.

On September 26, the Chief Minister is scheduled to meet with the Poma Group, followed by a meeting with the WMG Barbic Norten Group on September 27.

Earlier this month, a curtain raiser event took place in New Delhi regarding the Global Investors Summit in Uttarakhand, where Dhami participated as the chief guest.

Dhami emphasized Uttarakhand’s potential as a burgeoning state with abundant opportunities for industries. He highlighted the state’s picturesque landscapes, serene environment, and rich cultural heritage, which contribute to its distinct identity on both the national and global stages.

Additionally, the Chief Minister pointed out the state’s “peace of doing business,” highlighting that Uttarakhand has one of the lowest rates of labor disputes in the country’s industrial sector. He emphasized that this aspect led to the summit’s tagline: “Peace to Prosperity.”
