Uttarakhand: On April 25, 2023, the doors of Shri Kedarnath Dham will open for the public.

Kedarnath Yatra 2023: Temple priest Shiv Shankar told that Bhairavnath ji will be worshiped on April 20. On April 21, Baba's Panchmukhi idol will leave for Kedarnath Dham from Shri Omkareshwar Temple in Doli.

Uttarakhand: On April 25, 2023, the doors of Shri Kedarnath Dham will open for the public.

Rudraprayag: Devotees were waiting for a long time for the opening of the doors of Kedarnath Temple Open Date, the 11th Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva. Their wait ended today (Saturday) on Maha Shivaratri 2023. In the presence of Vedpathi and Acharya Ganas, the date of opening of the doors of Kedarnath was announced. The doors of Dham will be opened on 25th April (Tuesday) at 6.20 am in Aries ascendant. After which devotees will be able to see Baba Kedar. Announcing the opening date of the doors of the famous Lord Shiva temple, Ajendra Ajay, Chairman of the Kedarnath Temple Committee said that the Kapat of Kedarnath Dham will open on April 25, 2023

The temple of Baba Kedarnath is located in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. Winter Panchmukhi Deity Doli of Baba Kedar is enshrined in Omkareshwar temple of Ukhimath every year for winter and Mahashivaratri is declared as the date of opening of Baba’s doors with rituals. This year, the date of opening of Baba Kedar’s doors has been declared as 25 April.

Opening of the doors of Shri Badrinath Dham has also been announced. The doors of Badrinath are opening on April 27 (Thursday) this year, while traditionally the doors of Shri Gangotri-Yamunotri Dham open on Akshaya Tritiya. This time Akshaya Tritiya is on 22 April. In the month of Chait, Shri Gangotri-Yamunotri temple committees will formally announce the dates of opening of the doors.

Meanwhile, the doors of Badrinath Dham, which is one of the four ancient pilgrimage sites referred to as `Char Dham` which also included Yamunotri, Gangotri and Kedarnath, will open on April 27, 2023. This famous Hindu temple is situated in the town of Badrinath in Uttarakhand. It remains open for six months every year (between the end of April and the beginning of November)
