New Delhi: Uttarakhand is going to get the first Vande Bharat Express super fast train. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the first Vande Bharat Express train of Uttarakhand through video conferencing tomorrow i.e. on Thursday. Vande Bharat Express will run between Dehradun to Delhi. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (DCM) of Moradabad Railway Division Sudhir Singh said that Vande Bharat Express train from Dehradun to Delhi will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi through video conferencing.

Earlier on Wednesday, Uttarakhand’s first Vande Bharat Express train was trialled between Delhi and Dehradun. In the trial, Vande Bharat Express reached Dehradun from Delhi in 4 hours 12 minutes.
This is the highest speed train running between Delhi to Dehradun. In this train with eight coaches, 7 coats are of air-conditioned category. It has chair car seats, with 76 seats per coach. One coach is of executive class, which has 52 seats. There are revolving chairs in the executive class, which can rotate up to 180 degrees. Vande Bharat Express train is a state-of-the-art semi-high-speed train equipped with state-of-the-art passenger amenities.
Earlier on May 18, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had flagged off the Vande Bharat Express super fast train between Puri and Howrah through video conferencing. During the launch program of Odisha’s first Vande Bharat train, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set a target of delivering Vande Bharat Express train to almost all the states by June this year. With all the efforts of the Railways, it is expected that this target will be achieved.
Apart from this, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had said that Vande Metro is being designed for a distance of less than 100 km and for daily travel of passengers.
