Dehradun: The Yatra of Kedarnath Dham located in Uttarakhand will start from May 10, for which lakhs of people have registered and devotees have started arriving gradually. Meanwhile, the weather has taken a turn in different districts of the state. There are reports of rain and hail falling at many places.

Meanwhile, the weather has taken a turn in different districts of the state. There are reports of rain and hail falling at many places. There has been news of cloud burst in Almora-Someshwar area. Debris has arrived on the Almora-Kausani Highway, due to which the highway has been closed for the last 12 hours. Although the forest fire has been controlled to a great extent due to the rains, the entire life has become disrupted due to the changing weather.

Apart from Almora in Uttarakhand, there has been cloud burst in Bageshwar and heavy hailstorm has fallen in Purola Uttarkashi. Flood like situations have arisen due to cloud burst. Whereas IMD has predicted light rain in different areas of Uttarakhand till May 13. IMD has appealed to the travelers to avoid going on mountain trips during rains. Apart from this, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had held an important meeting with officials on monsoon disaster mitigation and Chardham management.

Due to the rain in Rudraprayag last Wednesday, the forest fire has been extinguished. Due to rain, waterlogging has been seen at many places on Gangotri Highway. The effect of rain has also been seen in Bageshwar and Tehri districts, due to which the forest fire has come under control. According to the report of the Weather Department, there is a possibility of cloud cover in most areas of the state today. There may be light showers as well as hailstorm in Dehradun and surrounding areas. Apart from this, warnings have been issued regarding lightning at some places.
