Vaibhav Gupta from Kanpur emerged victorious in the 14th edition of the iconic singing reality show, Indian Idol. The talented singer, driven by his passion for music, clinched the winner’s title along with a substantial prize of Rs 25 lakh.
The announcement of Vaibhav Gupta’s triumph was made by the evergreen singer Sonu Nigam, who, interestingly, had previously judged the first three seasons of the show. Nigam’s return to the stage was marked by a power-packed performance that left the audience in awe.
Subhadeep Das Chowdhury secured the position of the first runner-up, while Piyush Panwar claimed the second runner-up spot, earning a prize money of Rs 5 lakh. Ananya Pal, the third runner-up, received Rs 3 lakh as her well-deserved reward.
Vaibhav Gupta’s musical journey traces back to his days at Mantora School of Nanakari City, where he developed a profound interest in classical music.
