New Delhi: Veteran actor Vikram Gokhale’s health is slowly but steadily improving. On Friday, the hospital officials informed about this. The 77-year-old actor was taken to Pune’s Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital on 5 November following health complications. Due to his critical health, he was put on ventilator support. At present, his blood pressure and heart rate are stable.

He is opening his eyes, moving his limbs and likely to be off ventilator support in the next 48 hours. His BP and heart are stable.”
His condition was serious since 24 hours
Earlier, Vikram Gokhale’s wife Vrushali Gokhale said in a statement that her husband’s “multiple organs have stopped working”. Vrushali said on Thursday morning, “The condition of Vikram Gokhale is critical for the last 24 hours. The doctors are trying their best. He is not getting the expected effect of the treatment.” However, there is good news that his condition has shown some improvement.
Vikram Gokhale started his film career at the age of 26 with Amitabh Bachchan starrer Parwana in 1971. In a career spanning over four decades, Vikram Gokhale has appeared in various Marathi and Bollywood films, including Agneepath (1990), Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999), Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007) and Mission Mangal (2019). Vikram was last seen in Nikamma alongside Shilpa Shetty, Shirley Sethia and Abhimanyu Dassani, which released in June this year.
