Mumbai: As the anticipation grows for the upcoming YRF film ‘The Great Indian Family’, the makers have officially unveils trailer of the film on Tuesday afternoon, giving a glimpse of this entertainment to the people waiting for the film. Vicky Kaushal’s The Great Indian Family (TGIF) with Manushi Chhillar is set to release on September 22.

The film ‘The Great Indian Family’ directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya is a comedy-drama film of Bollywood. Vicky has played the role of local singer Bhajan Kumar in the movie. The trailer starts with Vicky Kaushal, who introduces himself and says that he is a disputed king of Balrampur. The story of the film is based on the backdrop of this place. Bhajan Kumar as Vicky is fond of singing and keeps this hobby alive through small events, but is very upset with his strange family.

Vicky Kaushal aka Bhajan Kumar then introduces the audience to his super traditional family. In this comedy-filled trailer, it is shown that when Pandit turned Vicky meets his lady love Manushi Chhillar, his desires change further. A dance montage later, Vicky reads out a letter that changes the course of Bhajan Kumar’s life.

The letter claims that Bhajan Kumar was born in a Muslim family. Bhajan Kumar’s family decides to distance themselves from him. He tries to find his true identity whilst trying to win the love and acceptance of his now-distanced family. We will have to wait till September 22 to see if Bhajan Kumar will reunite with his family or now.

Produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner Yash Raj Films, The Great Indian Family also stars Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, Yashpal Sharma, Sadiya Siddiqui, Alka Amin, Srishti Dixit, Bhuvan Arora, Aasif Khan, Ashutosh Ujjwal, Bharti Perwani in key roles.

On the Workfront, Vicky Kaushal was last seen with Sara Ali Khan in the comedy film Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. On the other hand, Manushi Chhillar made her Bollywood debut in 2022 with Samrat Prithviraj, alongside Akshay Kumar, Sonu Sood, and Sanjay Dutt. The film failed to impress the audience and did not perform at the box office.
