Srinagar: Imagine being thousands of feet in the air, strapped to your seat, while the world outside your window turns hostile. This was the reality for the passengers aboard IndiGo flight 6E6125 from New Delhi to Srinagar, who found themselves in the middle of an aerial vortex that tested their mettle and faith. Among them, revered chief of ‘Kashmir Seva Sangh’ Baba Firdous described the incident as a reminder of the horrors of mortality, the fury of nature and the fragility of human life.
A Srinagar-bound IndiGo flight faced massive turbulence after extreme weather conditions leaving passengers onboard in a harrowed condition. The incident took place on Monday i.e. February 19. The flight later landed safely in Srinagar, the airline informed in a statement.
Flight 6E6125 set off on its journey under mild skies when it encountered a volatile storm that turned the cabin into a theater of panic and prayer. As the plane pitched and rolled, passengers were seen clutching their seats, eyes closed in fervent prayer, seeking deliverance from the turmoil. The disturbance was a direct result of the severe weather conditions prevailing in the area, unlike anything experienced by the people aboard the ship.
A horrifying clip of the incident shows passengers holding on to their seats for dear life. The flight had taken off from Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport at 5:25 pm but faced turbulence en route due to heavy rainfall.

This further increased the crisis in the area, leaving hundreds of people stranded and the rhythm of everyday life disrupted.
