Sushmita Sen, renowned not only for her acting prowess but also for her strength and independence, was recently spotted seeking blessings at a Durga Puja pandal in Mumbai, accompanied by her family. She visited a puja pandal in the city with her parents, daughter, and a few other family members. As the cities dazzled with beautiful lights, the entire Bollywood industry joined in the celebration of Navratri and Durga Puja.
In a video capturing the moment, Sushmita Sen radiated grace and glamour in a pink saree, complemented by glamorous makeup, earrings, bangles, and pink lipstick. She tied her hair in a ponytail and warmly greeted those around her. Her younger daughter joined her at the location, dressed in a simple lehenga-choli ensemble. In another video, Sushmita Sen was seen performing Dhunuchi naach, a devotional dance to express gratitude to Goddess Durga. This dance involves holding a dhunuchi, which contains burning coconut husks with dhuno (scented smoke) sprinkled on them.
On the professional front, Sushmita Sen announced the third season of “Aarya” on social media earlier this year. Despite suffering a heart attack earlier in the year, the filming for the new season of her Emmy-nominated thriller series recently concluded. Sushmita revealed that the latest season of the series is set to premiere from November 3.
Sushmita Sen will reprise her role as Aarya Sareen in the new season, and the cast will include Ila Arun, Sikandar Kher, Indraneil Sengupta, Vikas Kumar, Maya Sarao, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Shweta Pasricha, Viren Vazirani, Pratyaksh Panwar, Aarushi Bajaj, Bhupendra Jadawat, and Vishwajeet Pradhan, among others.
