A major accident took place in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday. Here a water tank filled to the brim and collapsed in Krishna Vihar area. Two people have died and many people have been injured in this accident. The injured have been admitted to the hospital.
According to media reports, a girl and a woman have died in this accident. Vehicles parked on the road were damaged due to the tank falling. Water and debris from the tank entered many houses.

Meanwhile, on the incident of water tank falling, Mathura DM Shailendra Kumar Singh said, “A water tank fell in Krishna Vihar Colony at around 5 pm. Six people were injured in this incident, rescue operation is going on to save the people trapped under the debris.
Mathura SSP Shailesh Pandey said on this incident, “A water tank collapsed during rain in Krishna Vihar Colony. After the incident, police and fire teams reached the spot for rescue operations. The people injured in the incident have been sent to the hospital. NDRF, SDRF and Army teams will soon reach here for rescue operations.
