Pilibhit: Tensions flared in Katakwara village as gunshots rang out during a dispute over the playing of loud music, leaving one individual wounded and three others injured. Stone-pelting further escalated the confrontation, according to a police official.

Details of the Incident

The altercation, which unfolded in the Barkhera police station area, stemmed from a disagreement between two factions regarding the volume of music being played in the vicinity. Circle Officer Vishal Chaudhari of Bisalpur disclosed that the clash involved groups associated with the current village head and a former village head.

Casualties

During the confrontation, a man identified as Vimal sustained gunshot wounds, while Ankit, Satyapal, and Vinod were injured in the stone-pelting incident.

Ongoing Investigation
