Vivo launched its new smartphone Vivo V25 with 6.44-inch AMOLED display, 50MP camera in India: Check other details

Vivo has been launched its new smartphone Vivo V25 in India. It comes after the company launched the Vivo V25 Pro recently. The handset is equipped with a 50-megapixel Eye AF selfie camera, along with a 64-megapixel triple rear camera setup, with optical image stabilisation and electronic image stabilisation.

New Delhi: Vivo has been launched its new smartphone Vivo V25 in India. It comes after the company launched the Vivo V25 Pro recently. The handset is equipped with a 50-megapixel Eye AF selfie camera, along with a 64-megapixel triple rear camera setup, with optical image stabilisation and electronic image stabilisation. The Vivo V25 comes with a waterdrop notch for the selfie snapper, an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, triple cameras arranged in a square module, and a unique gradient design.

It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of inbuilt storage. The newly launched Vivo V25 sports a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and packs a 4,500mAh battery with 44W FlashCharge support. The Vivo V25 comes with a colour-changing Flourite AG glass back panel similar to the Vivo V25 Pro.

Vivo V25 price in India, pre-booking details

It will be available in two variants

1. 8GB + 128GB model- Rs 27,999
2. 12GB + 256GB model- Rs 31,999

The handset comes in Surfing Blue and Elegant Black colour options and will be on sale via Flipkart and the Vivo online store. You can pre-book the Vivo V25 starting 3 pm via Flipkart and Vivo.com/in.

The phone can also be pre-booked offline through Reliance Digital, Croma, Vijay Sales, Poorvika, Sangeetha, and other partner stores. Pre-booking customers can avail up to 10 percent cashback using ICICI Bank or SBI Bank cards and additional Rs 2,000 exchange bonus.

Vivo V25 specifications

The Vivo V25 sports a 6.44-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop notch for the selfie shooter. Vivo V25 5G has a slender thin-frame design with only 7.79mm thickness. The 2.5D Flat frame is combined with 6.44-inch AMOLED FHD+ display screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz and touch sampling rate of 180Hz to offer a smooth and lag-free smartphone experience.

It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC and comes in two versions: 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB storage that is further expandable via a microSD card. Vivo V25 5G comes with a large, 4500mAh battery with a 44W FlashCharge and Smart Charging Engine. Also, the smartphone runs on Funtouch OS12 which is based on the Android 12 platform.

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data sync. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor for security but no 3.5mm audio jack.Moving to optics, the Vivo V25 has triple camera sensors on the back, with a 64MP primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture and LED flash, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro sensor.

The rear cameras support features like night mode, portrait, super-macro, high resolution, panorama, Live Photo, slow motion, time-lapse, pro, AR stickers, vlog movie, documents, double exposure, and dual view. The phone has a 50MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats. “For gaming, V25 5G features the Game Boost Mode that is designed to unleash the power of the processor to give hassle-free performance. Also, for extensive gaming and all-day media consumption, it brings the Liquid Cooling System that instantly cools down the smartphone during intensive gameplay,” the company claims.
