Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav did surprise inspection of PMCH, called a meeting of health department officials today.

Patna: Tejaswi Yadav, deputy CM of the Grand Alliance government in Bihar, is constantly in action. Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav visited Patna Medical College Hospital (PMCH) late night on Tuesday. His late night inspection shocks as there were no cleanliness, no doctors and patient was on floor. People complained a lot to Tejashwi Yadav about the disorder in the hospital. Tejashwi upset by lack of cleanliness in hospitals. He also noted down the complaints of the people. Today Tejashwi Yadav has called a high level meeting of all the big health officials. Officials of the entire district have been called in today’s meeting. In the meeting, they will discuss the health system.

During Tejashwi Yadav’s visit, a lot of filth was seen in the hospital. On this many people expressed their displeasure and asked the Deputy Chief Minister to give instructions to the officers.

It can be seen in the video that on reaching PMCH at 12 o’clock in a sudden surprise, he saw that many doctors were not present on duty. After this Tejashwi Yadav said in a stern tone that the negligence of the doctors will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Tejashwi Yadav also organized a class of personnel on the mess in the washroom. Meanwhile, a worker standing there was also sent to see the condition of the washroom.

Tejashwi Yadav expressed displeasure over the unclaimed body being kept in the corridor of the hospital. He interrogated the nurse doing duty there. He asked whether the sweeper was outsourced. He was told that the cleaning work has been given to the agency.

Hospital toilet is very dirty. When Tejashwi interrogated the hospitalized patients and their families, they were told that women have to go out for toilets and pay money for it.

The corpses were not placed properly at the mortuary in the hospital and stray animals were also seen roaming in the hospital. The patients complained to him regarding the lack of basic facilities including medicines and clean toilets.

The health minister expressed shock at the unavailability of senior doctors at the hospital during the night as the health manager, nurses were seen discharging their duties.

People complained that medicines are not available in the hospital. Tejashwi Yadav told the people that he has called a meeting of all the officers of the Health Department. Before that they have come to see the situation.
