New Delhi: Congress leader Renuka Chowdhury lashed out at a policeman and grabbed his collar during the ongoing protest over the summoning of former party president Rahul Gandhi by the ED. The police were trying to remove the protesters from the spot, during which Renuka Chaudhary grabbed the collar of a policeman and started pulling him. After this other policemen somehow freed that policeman from the hold of Renuka Chaudhary and took the Congress leader into custody.
The Congress party is protesting across the country on Thursday. In most states, party workers and leaders are gheraoing the Raj Bhavans. During a similar protest in Telangana, Renuka Chowdhury misbehaved with the policeman and pulled him by the collar.

The ED questioned Congress leader Rahul Gandhi till around 9 pm on Wednesday in the National Herald case. Rahul Gandhi came out of the ED office at 9.30 pm. Rahul had reached the ED’s office for the third time to join the interrogation. At the same time, Congress is continuously opposing the summoning of Rahul Gandhi by the ED in the National Herald case.
On Wednesday, Congress workers took to the streets in Delhi to protest against the action of the ED. Congress workers and leaders attacked the BJP and PM Modi and accused Rahul Gandhi of deliberately implicating him in this case. Congress leaders said that Rahul Gandhi has been questioning the government on every front, so the government wants to harass him.
