Sun Pictures, the production company behind Rajinikanth's latest blockbuster, Jailer, is making all possible efforts to celebrate the grand success of the film. In a grand gesture of appreciation, the film's iconic hero, megastar Rajinikanth, was gifted a substantial bonus payment and a luxury automobile by Sun Pictures, far in excess of his agreed remuneration.
New Delhi: Sun Pictures, the production company behind Rajinikanth’s latest blockbuster, Jailer, is making all possible efforts to celebrate the grand success of the film. In a grand gesture of appreciation, the film’s iconic hero, megastar Rajinikanth, was gifted a substantial bonus payment and a luxury automobile by Sun Pictures, far in excess of his agreed remuneration. The action-thriller, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, earned more than Rs 500 crore worldwide and created history. Following the success of the film, producer Kalanithi Maran felicitated as many as 300 people who worked for Jailer.

Taking the celebrations a step further, over 300 individuals from the film’s dedicated crew received commemorative gold coins courtesy of Jalgaar Film Production Company. These gold coins proudly bearing the Jailer inscription were distributed as a token of appreciation during the film’s celebration function. It is noteworthy that this heart-touching program will be telecast on television during the upcoming Vinayak Chavithi Mahotsav. Soon after the video was released by Sun Pictures, cinema lovers appreciated Kalanithi Maran for this thoughtful move

Earlier, Kalanithi Maran gifted a luxury Porsche worth Rs 1.50 crore to music composer Anirudh Ravichander for his contributions to making Jailer a success. In the video, Ravichander was seen choosing between a Porsche and a swanky BMW car. He chose a blue-coloured Porsche. Post the success of Jailer, Kalanithi Maran also gifted a BMW to Rajinikanth worth Rs 1.70 crore.

On Workfront, megastar Rajinikanth today announced his next film Thalaivar 171. The project will be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, whose last film featured Kamal Haasan and next stars Thalapathy Vijay. The Anirudh Ravichander musical will be produced by Sun Pictures.
