ISRO on Friday released a captivating video of the Chandrayaan-3 mission rover Pragyan emerging from the lander Vikram to the lunar surface, captured by the lander imager camera.
“Watch how the Chandrayaan-3 rover reached the lunar surface from the lander,” reads the message along with the video posted on ‘X’ by space agency ISRO The Chandrayaan-2 orbiter also released an image of the lander taken by the High Resolution Camera (OHRC). Sharing the video in a tweet, ISRO wrote, “… and here is how the Chandrayaan-3 Rover ramped down from the Lander to the Lunar surface.”

ISRO also released photos of the Chandrayaan-3 lander by the Chandrayaan-2 orbiter and said on behalf of the orbiter, “I am spying on you.
The Orbiter High-Resolution Camera (OHRC) of Chandrayaan-2 is currently orbiting the Moon and taking photos with the best resolution cameras. The Chandrayaan-2 orbiter, launched in 2019, is still orbiting the moon. Chandrayaan-3 successfully performed a soft landing on the moon at 6.04 pm on Wednesday evening, making India the fourth country to have successfully landed on the lunar surface. After nearly 4 hours, the Pragyan rover came out on the surface, the moment that has been captured in the latest video shared by ISRO.
