Bengaluru: Singer Kailash Kher is reported to have been attacked during a concert in Karnataka. According to information, a bottle was thrown at the singer during the concert. During this, the police present on the spot immediately swung into action and arrested the person who threw the bottle at Kher. It is being told that on Sunday, Kailash Kher had gone to attend the concert organized in Hampi, Karnataka.

Two locals – Pradeep, 22, and Surah, 21 – were arrested in this regard and their statements have been recorded, said police.
Mr Kher could be seen performing when the bottle flies towards him but misses by a whisker, and drops on the stage behind him. Not distracted by this, the singer continues with his performance. Seconds later, an official was seen removing the half-filled water bottle from the stage.
According to reports, the accused hurled water bottles at Kher while demanding Kannada songs. As per reports, the accused have been taken into custody by the police. Soon after Kher was attacked, the police swung into action and took action against the accused.
Singer Kailash Kher had given information about going to Hampi on his Twitter account. On Sunday, he wrote in a tweet that the ancient city of India, the Kaal Khand, is being merged into the form of temples and attics. Shivnaad of Kailash Band will echo today in Hampi Mahotsav.
The three-day Hampi festival started on 27 January. A cultural program is being organized for the first time after the formation of the new Vijayanagara district. The program was inaugurated by Basavaraj Bommai on Friday. In such a situation, well-known singers of the country performed in this program. Apart from Kailash Kher, artists like Arjun Janya, Vijaya Prakash, Raghu Dixit were also invited for the event.
