New Delhi: Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has made a tweet regarding the Corona epidemic in the midst of an uproar over the letter talking about ending the Bharat Jodo Yatra. In which he has told that today he had a meeting with officials and experts regarding this. In which many decisions have been taken. Let us tell you that earlier Mandaviya had written a letter to Rahul Gandhi saying that Bharat Jodo Yatra should be considered to end, Corona protocol is not being followed in this.
Now in his tweet, the Union Health Minister, referring to the high-level meeting, wrote, “In view of the rapidly increasing corona cases in many countries of the world, a review meeting was held with officials and experts. Corona is not over yet. I Instructed everyone to be on alert and continuously work to increase surveillance. We are fully prepared to deal with any situation.”
In this crucial meeting, Mandaviya along with senior officials and experts discussed the measures that could be taken amid the rise in cases in neighbouring China and other countries.

In the meeting, NITI Aayog member Dr. VK Paul said that there is no need for panic right now. Everyone is advised to wear masks in the crowd. Every week there will be a review meeting in the Ministry of Health. Testing is being done in sufficient quantity. In between, the Health Ministry will decide what further steps are to be taken. No new guideline is being issued at present.

According to sources, many important issues were discussed in this meeting of the central government. In which there was talk of increasing surveillance at the most important international and domestic airports. It was also said to strictly check the people coming from abroad and provide all kinds of facilities for the identification of new variants. It was also emphasized in the meeting that a protocol should be prepared for the Indians who are returning from abroad to celebrate the new year. If corona-like symptoms are found, their samples should be immediately sent for genome sequencing.
