Weather alert: IMD forecast predicts lightning and heavy rainfall warnings for the next four days in these 12 states

New Delhi: The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding rain in some parts of the country. During this, the possibility of lightning and thunder in these areas has also been expressed. Lightning with isolated rain is forecast over Lakshadweep, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh and South Karnataka and Karaikal. According to the Meteorological Department, rain can be seen in Telangana, Coastal and North Interior Karnataka and Kerala during the next 4 days. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Kerala and Mahe today. Whereas today and tomorrow, there is a possibility of rain in Coastal Karnataka and Interiors of South Karnataka.

At the same time, the weather agency Skymet has predicted light to moderate rain in Bengaluru today, although the process of rain may reduce gradually till tomorrow. Whereas after September 10, there is a possibility of getting a big relief and there may be sunshine in Bangalore.

Apart from this, heavy rain has been warned in some areas of North Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on September 9 and 10. On the other hand, there is a possibility of light and heavy rains in Uttarakhand in North India between September 9 and 11. There is also a possibility of lightning during this period.

At the same time, light rain activity is expected to continue over most parts of Northwest India during the next 4 days. Heavy rain and lightning warnings have been issued in Arunachal Pradesh today and at isolated places in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on September 10 and 11.

There is a possibility of rain in many areas in Himachal Pradesh on September 10 and 11. Due to the earlier rains, the movement of vehicles and life in the state came to a standstill. 12 roads in Kangra district and nine in Kullu and two roads each in Mandi-Shimla-Solan remained closed. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has also issued an alert regarding rain in Bihar.

IMD has issued heavy rain alert in 10 districts including capital Patna, Siwan, Saran, Bhojpur, Buxar, Gopalganj, Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, East Champaran and West Champaran. During this, a lightning warning has also been given in these areas. Whereas in central India, the weather will be generally clear in other states including MP, Maharashtra and Gujarat. Let us tell you that in the last month, monsoon rains have caused huge destruction in many states of the country. Although now the monsoon is slowly starting to weaken, but still it has not been fully met by the rains.
