Weather forecast: IMD issues heavy rain alert for TN, Puducherry, Karaikal and Kerala for the next 5 days

New Delhi: Incessant rains in the states of South India have disturbed life, While air pollution has made life difficult for people in Delhi-NCR. From Tamil Nadu to Kerala, it is raining continuously from the sky and due to this people are facing a lot of problems. The Meteorological Department has not predicted any relief from the rains in the coming days. However, the states of North India have got relief from the rains. From UP-Bihar to other states, there is a feeling of pink cold in the morning, while the air of Delhi is becoming more and more toxic.

Indian Meteorological department forecast warning of heavy rain has been issued in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal and Kerala for the next five days. Not only this, from today i.e. 4th November, the effect of Western Disturbance is going to fall on the Western Himalayan region and from 5th November its effect will be seen in the plains. According to the IMD, very heavy rains may occur over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Mahe and Kerala during the next five days. Along with this, the effect of storm can also be seen.

The government and private schools in Puducherry and Karaikal will remain closed for two days, November 4 and November 5 due to heavy rain alerts in both regions. The announcement has been made by the Puducherry Education Minister, A Namassivayam.

The Meteorological Department has predicted moderate rain with snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh on November 5 to 7 and in Uttarakhand on November 6 and 7. At the same time, rain will be seen in Punjab from 5 to 7 November. Apart from this, a warning of heavy rain and snowfall has been issued in the Kashmir Valley on November 6. Due to heavy rain and snowfall, the weather pattern will change and the cold will increase.

At the same time, according to the weather-related website Skymet, no improvement is expected in the air quality of Delhi and NCR during the next 24 hours. Delhi’s air quality index may remain in the very poor to severe category. At the same time, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain at some places in Tamil Nadu. There is also a possibility of rain in Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Karnataka, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh.
