Weather forecast update: Heavy rainfall to continue in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and many states of the country in next few days

The department has said that on September 18, there may be heavy rain along with lightning in many areas including Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and Chhattisgarh. India is likely to receive rain on September 19 and 20 in Maharashtra, Marathada, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Chhattisgarh.

New Delhi: Monsoon is now in the time of farewell but it is in the mood to soak people fiercely as they go. For the last two days, it has been raining in different parts of the country including Delhi-NCR. People have got relief from the sultry heat to a great extent due to the rains and the subsequent cold winds. However, due to accumulation of rain water in many areas, people have to face problems. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a big update regarding the rain forecast for the next 5 days.

According to the latest update of the Meteorological Department (IMD), a Western Disturbance is active in North India. Due to this, the center of low pressure has remained in the adjoining areas of Madhya Pradesh and Central UP. This low pressure center is likely to move northwards in the next 24 hours. Due to this, it is raining in Assam, Bihar, East UP. According to the department, there may be heavy rain on September 17 in West-East UP, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa, Maharashtra, Andaman Nicobar and Konkan Coast.

The department has said that on September 18, there may be heavy rain along with lightning in many areas including Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and Chhattisgarh. India is likely to receive rain on September 19 and 20 in Maharashtra, Marathada, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Chhattisgarh. Apart from these, heavy rains are also expected in Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand, and northeastern states.

According to the release of IMD, it will be cloudy in Delhi-NCR on Saturday as well. Along with the rain forecast, light winds will also blow in this area, due to which people will feel the pleasant weather. The weather may be clear in some parts on Sunday. This is expected to bring down the day and night temperatures as well.

According to the department, the maximum temperature in Delhi has reached the lowest level so far this month. Due to which the people troubled by the heat have got a lot of relief. Meteorologists say that a low pressure area remains in Delhi and its surrounding areas. Due to which there is a possibility of rain in Delhi and surrounding areas.
