New Delhi: It is raining heavily in the northeastern and southern states of the country. In this sequence, the Indian Meteorological Center (IMD) has informed by tweeting that there is a possibility of moderate rain in some areas with scattered heavy rains in Odisha on 29 September, 01 and 02 October.

At the same time, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Jharkhand and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on 02 October. Apart from this, moderate to heavy rains have also been predicted in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on October 2.IMD has informed that Southwest Monsoon may withdraw from some parts of Central India along with Northwest India during the next 2-3 days.

During the next 2-3 days, isolated heavy rain is likely over South-East Peninsular India. IMD has said that there may be rain in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Rayalaseema from September 28 to 30. On the other hand, there is a possibility of rain in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal today. Apart from this, clouds can rain in Karnataka on 29 and 30 September.

According to the Skymet Weather report, some parts of South Gujarat may see rain for the next four to five days. There will be continuous rain in the cities of South Gujarat. There will be rain in Surat, Vapi, Valsad, Mahuva, Veraval and parts of Kutch and central parts of Gujarat including Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Vadodara.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department forecast, some parts of South Gujarat may see rain for the next four to five days. North Gujarat, Kutch and other parts of Saurashtra adjoining the Gulf of Kutch including Jamnagar, Rajkot and Porbandar are not expected to receive rain. On Wednesday, Skymet reported in its report that Mumbai will receive some rain every day, light rain from Wednesday, moderate Thursday and then there may be heavy rain on Friday.
