Weather News: IMD forecast issues rain to be continue in TN, Karnataka, AP and Kerala till next 3-4 days

According to the Meteorological Department, many parts of the country including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Puducherry and Karaikal are likely to receive rain today due to the active north-east monsoon. Not only this, the rains will continue in these areas for the next three-four days. Also, snowfall continues in Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh.

New Delhi: Delhiites are not seeing any hope of getting relief from the toxic air right now. According to the Meteorological Department, the air quality index in Delhi and NCR may remain in the very poor to severe category and the capital may be seen wrapped in a thick blanket of haze.

At the same time, due to active northeast monsoon, rains are continuing in some parts of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala. Not only this, the weather pattern seems to be changing from Kashmir to Kanyakumari i.e. from North to South India. On the one hand, it is raining in the states of South India, on the other hand it is snowing in the hilly states like Jammu and Kashmir including Himachal, while pollution in Delhi has made life difficult for the people. At the same time, chills have started increasing in states like UP and Bihar.

According to the Meteorological Department, many parts of the country including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Puducherry and Karaikal are likely to receive rain today due to the active north-east monsoon. Not only this, the rains will continue in these areas for the next three-four days. Also, snowfall continues in Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh. The Meteorological Department said that there will be snowfall in these areas with light rain and the cold will increase. Chances of rain have also been expressed in Uttarakhand and Punjab.

Actually, due to the snowfall on the mountains, there is a rapid change in the weather of the plains. A gradual drop in temperature is being recorded in the areas of North India. From Bihar to UP and Delhi-NCR, people are feeling pink cold in the morning and light fog is also being seen. In Delhi, there is a thick blanket of mist in the morning.

The air quality of Delhi-NCR continues to deteriorate. The Air Quality Index (AQI) in Noida was recorded at 393, which falls in the ‘very poor’ category. At the same time, the quality of air (318) in Gurugram was recorded in the very poor category. Also, the air quality (333) near Delhi Airport Terminal 3 was recorded very poor. The overall AQI of Delhi is currently at 346 (Very Poor Category).

According to the meteorological information website Skymet, today it may rain in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Coastal Tamil Nadu, Interior Tamil Nadu, Kerala, South Interior Karnataka and Rayalaseema. On the other hand, there may be rain and snowfall in many areas of Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal and Uttarakhand. Whereas the air quality index in Delhi and NCR may remain in the very poor to severe category.
