Weather today: IMD forecast alert of strong winds for 3 days in Delhi, rain-snowfall continues in mountains

According to the weather forecast agency Skymet, there may be light rain or snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh. Strong winds can blow in many states of North West India during the day today.

New Delhi: Strong winds can blow in many states of North West India during the day today. At the same time, the period of rain and snowfall on the mountains is expected to continue today i.e. on February 11. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be no cold wave conditions in any part of the country this week. On the other hand, if we talk about the temperature, then in the areas of North India today the minimum temperature can remain between 9 to 12 degrees.

Today in the country’s capital Delhi, the minimum temperature can be 13 degrees and the maximum temperature can be 29 degrees. At the same time, strong winds can blow in Delhi today during the day. Strong winds can blow in Delhi on 12 and 13 February as well. On Sunday, the minimum temperature in Delhi can be recorded at 12 degrees and the maximum temperature can be recorded at 25 degrees.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is going to change on the mountains. There has been snowfall of more than 2 feet in Badrinath Dham so far. Snowfall in the higher reaches of Chamoli will increase the cold in the lower areas. At the same time, it is raining intermittently in Joshimath as well. Let us tell you, the Meteorological Department has issued a two-day yellow alert for the mountains.

In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, the minimum temperature can be 14 degrees and the maximum temperature can be 29 degrees. Strong winds can also blow in Lucknow. If we talk about Ghaziabad, then the minimum temperature can be recorded at 9 degrees and the maximum temperature can be recorded at 26 degrees. Strong winds can also blow in Ghaziabad. Strong winds can blow in Ghaziabad on 12 and 13 February as well.

According to the weather forecast agency Skymet, there may be light rain or snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh. Whereas, light rain is possible in North Punjab, East Assam and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal. Along with this, day and night temperatures are expected to drop significantly over northwest and central India from February 12.
