Weather Update: IMD issues heavy rain alert in the south India for the next 3 days, Snowfall in the mountains

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert that there may be heavy rains in some states for the coming 3 days. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be heavy to very heavy rains in the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu, Kerala. Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Lakshadweep. At the same time, heavy rains may occur in some areas of Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Mahe in the next 48 hours.

New Delhi: It is raining heavily these days in many states of South India. Due to the heavy rains in many states including Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, people have to face a lot of problems. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert that there may be heavy rains in some states for the coming 3 days. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be heavy to very heavy rains in the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu, Kerala. Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Lakshadweep.

At the same time, heavy rains may occur in some areas of Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Mahe in the next 48 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, winds can blow at a speed of 45 to 55 kmph in South Andhra Pradesh-Tamil Nadu-Puducherry, Lakshadweep and Comorin areas. Apart from this, in the next 25 hours, strong winds can blow in Lakshadweep, Maldives-Comorin area and some areas of Kerala. In view of the threat of rain and strong wind, the Meteorological Department has issued an advisory to fishermen along Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Sri Lankan coasts, Gulf of Mannar and adjoining Comorin area as well as in southwest and adjoining west-central Bay of Bengal. Advised not to go.

Along with this, fishermen have been advised not to go to the Arabian Sea and Kerala coast, Lakshadweep, Maldives coasts for the next two days. The Meteorological Department has told in the latest update that the effect of a new western disturbance is being seen. There is a possibility of snowfall and rain in Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan and Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh in the next 48 hours.

Due to the change in weather, the temperature will drop in these states, due to which the cold may increase further. On the other hand, on November 16, a new low pressure area is likely to form over southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining Andaman Sea. Due to this, there will not be any major change in the minimum temperature during the next 3 days. On the other hand, in some parts of North West India, there may be a drop of 2 to 4 degree Celsius in temperature.
