Also, during the next 2 to 3 days, the day and night temperatures may drop by 2-4 degrees in parts of northwest and central India.

The effect of snowfall in hilly states like Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir is now gradually visible in entire North India and plains.

The air quality has improved in the capital Delhi, although in the meantime a drop in temperature has also been recorded. The outbreak of cold is increasing in UP and Bihar as well and the fog has started knocking.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the air quality is expected to improve further due to strong wind in Delhi.
