The independent panel was tasked with releasing an 18-page decision in which the Caribbean opening batsman was charged with drug use. JADCO accused Campbell of refusing to give a blood sample in April at his Kingston residence.

According to the panel, Campbell violated  JADCO rule 2.3, which is an anti-doping rule.

The ruling said that the athlete broke JADCO rule 2.3, which is an anti-doping rule, and that the panel was “comfortably satisfied” with this conclusion.

The batter is likely to face a four-year ban following the probe, they continued to say.

Based on the provided evidence, the panel does not conclude that the athlete’s anti-doping violation was not intentional The athlete is ineligible in this case for a term of four years, the judgement added.

The 29-year-old batsman has so far played 20 Test matches, six one-day internationals, and two T20Is.

It is a tough call by the cricket board, which should be a lesson for the other players not to use such substances, which may ruin a player’s career.
