UP ,Sultanpur : In a horrifying incident in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh, a woman was subjected to brutal violence, including rape, burning her face with cigarettes, and ultimately being hacked to death with an axe. The tragic event unfolded on December 3, stemming from a dispute over a job promise and payment.
The victim, who had taken money from the prime suspect, Suraj Kumar Sonkar, for securing a job, failed to fulfill her commitment. Subsequently, Sonkar demanded the return of his money. Frustrated by the delay and betrayal, he resorted to a heinous act of violence.
Sonkar allegedly raped the woman, inflicted burns on her face with cigarettes, and mercilessly attacked her with an axe. The lifeless body of the victim was discovered by the roadside in Sultanpur, exhibiting multiple injury marks and bleeding from the ears, according to the police.
In response to the gruesome crime, law enforcement promptly registered a case and initiated an investigation. The prime suspect, Sonkar, was swiftly apprehended. During the arrest, the police recovered evidence, including an e-rickshaw, a mobile phone, and the axe believed to have been used in the horrendous act. The authorities are now working to bring justice to the victim and hold the perpetrator accountable for this brutal crime.
