The inaugural edition of the Women’s Premier League begins in Mumbai from March 4. BCCI is leaving no stone unturned to make it a grand event. Its launch has been planned with a bang. According to information, Bollywood superstars Kiara Advani and Kriti Sanon will participate in this ceremony to be held at DY Patil Stadium on March 4. Along with this, well-known singer AP Dhillon will sing the WPL anthem.

There will be a match between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans

Top celebrities are all set to grace the occasion at the DY Patil Stadium ahead of Mumbai Indians taking on Gujarat Giants. Singer AP Dhillon, who has crooned popular numbers like ‘Brown Munde’, ‘Bahane’, ‘Pagal’, ‘Tere Te’ and many more, will enthrall the audience with his scintillating performance. The inaugural Women’s Premier League will begin with a blockbuster match between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Giants.

Mumbai Indians announced their captain on Wednesday. MI has given Harmanpreet Kaur the responsibility. Though Harmanpreet was not the costliest player bought by Mumbai in last month’s auction, everyone was expecting her to lead the team. The team includes other top players like Nate Sciver-Brunt, Hayley Matthews and Amelia Kerr.
