Xiaomi India has announced in a tweet that the Xiaomi 12 Pro smartphone would be released in India on April 27, which is still a few weeks away. The Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G has already been released in China and a few other regions. The phone’s microsite, which focuses on the design, camera, and performance, is now online on the company’s website.

Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G: Specifications

A 6.67-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1500 nits is featured on the Xiaomi 12 Pro. The flagship phone is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, as well as up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. A 4600mAh battery powers the phone, featuring 120W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging capabilities.

The smartphone features a 50MP Sony IMX 707 primary camera with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP telephoto camera in terms of lenses. A 32MP front camera is available for selfies. It comes pre-installed with MIUI 13, which is based on Android 12.

The Xiaomi 12 Pro is priced at USD 999 (about Rs 76,300) in the United States. In India, however, we should anticipate aggressive pricing to compete with the OnePlus 10 Pro, Realme GT 2 Pro, and iQoo 9 Pro. Xiaomi, like we’ve seen in the past, may possibly unveil more goods at the launch, which will be unveiled in the following days.
