The work of opening the gate of ITO barrage continues
The work of opening the remaining three gates of the ITO barrage continued on Tuesday as well. Officials told that Haryana government, Navy engineers and others are trying to open this closed gate together. Officials told that it would be easy to open these gates after the water level in Yamuna recedes.
Right now the team is facing problems due to the fast flow of water. We are expecting that the speed with which the water level of Yamuna is falling, if the pace continues like this further, Yamuna may soon reach normal level. Tell that out of the five closed gates of the barrage, two gates have been opened, while efforts are being made to open the other gate.
