Ramdev’s comment has gone viral on social media. Delhi Commission for Women chief Swati Maliwal lashed out at Ramdev’s comment. She tweeted that Ramdev should apologise for making abusive remarks about women.
Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) leader Sanjay Raut said in his remarks that when Ramdev was openly insulting the women, Amnruta Fadnavis (wife of Maharashtra’s deputy CM) remained silent. Ramdev insults women. “Has the government kept its tongue in its cheek when it comes to Delhi?” Sanjay Raut was speaking to the media.
Ramdev made his remark while he was saying that several women at the camp brought their sarees but didn’t get time to wear them because of events at regular intervals. “You look good in sarees and salwars, like Amruta ji, and you look good when you wear nothing, like me,” the yoga guru said.
