Yoga can be beneficial in many ways like it has the ability to cure anxiety and depression. But as per the researchers, it can also lead to internal injuries and muscular pain.
The study says that more than one-third people suffer from internal injuries due to yoga.
According to the researchers, the participants must discuss the risk of injuries and muscular pain with the yoga experts and physiotherapists so that they must get aware of the correct posture.
The study found that at the initial level the pain happens in the above extremities like shoulder and wrist. Therefore, the people must perform yoga postures under the guidance of the experts.
