Yogi Adityanath Emerges as India’s Most Followed Chief Minister on X with 27.4 Million followers

Lucknow : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s popularity has reached new heights as he clinches the title of India’s most followed Chief Minister on the social media platform X. According to a press release from the Chief Minister’s Office, Yogi Adityanath’s personal X account (@myogiadityanath) recently surpassed a remarkable milestone, amassing an impressive 27.4 million followers.

In the realm of Indian politicians’ personal X accounts, CM Yogi secures the third position, trailing only behind Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. This accomplishment pushes Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to a lower spot.

The release highlighted that Yogi Adityanath’s social media influence significantly outshines other prominent political figures. For instance, his follower count surpasses that of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who has 24.8 million followers, and Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav, who boasts 19.1 million followers on X.

In addition to his personal X account, Yogi Adityanath’s official office account (@myogioffice) has also garnered substantial attention, accumulating a following of over 10 million since its initiation in January 2019. The release notes that this account stands as the largest personal office account in the country.

The press release underlines the recent global praise received by Yogi Adityanath for the successful ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Lord Ram in Ayodhya. The event, held on January 22, saw the main rituals performed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, unveiling the idol of Prabhu Shri Ram Lalla.

Yogi Adityanath’s social media triumphs and commendable leadership showcased during significant events like the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony continue to solidify his standing as a prominent political figure in India.
