New Delhi: On Saturday, Indian Young shooter Aishwarya Tomar created record, won a gold medal in the 50m rifle three positions event at the ISSF Shooting World Cup in Changwon. He beat Hungary’s Zalan Pekler 16–12 to stay on top, as well as top with a score of 593.

Young shooter Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar topped the Men’s 50m Rifle 3P Qualifier. Indian shooters continued their impressive performance in the ongoing ISSF World Cup Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun stage in Changwon, South Korea.
Senior rifle shooter Chain Singh qualified for the final, star Yuva Tomar topped the men’s 50m Rifle 3 Position (3P) qualifier with a score of 593 out of 600. Experienced Sanjeev Rajput finished 40th with 577 points and could not make it to the qualification. Rhythm Sangwan is at 18th position with 285 points. Army shooter Chain Singh claimed the seventh position in the men’s 3p qualifier with a score of 586.
Another good performance came by Manu Bhaker, who shot 288 in the women’s 25m pistol to finish seventh with a rapid-fire round ahead of the final round on Saturday.Earlier, the Indian shooting trio of Prithviraj Tondaiman, Vivaan Kapoor and Bhowneesh Mendiratta clinched a silver medal for the country at the World Cup Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun stage in Changwon, Korea on Wednesday.
