Mumbai: British singer Zayn Malik dropped his third solo album ‘Nobody is Listening’ last week. The 28-year-old artist interacted his fans on Sunday in a Instagram Live session where he played songs from his latest album and read reactions of his fans. But what caught public attention was his unfiltered persona in which he was seen indulging in a smoking session.

The singer came for a live session at 6am (New York time). In the live video session, his song ‘Nobody is listening’ was played in the background as he chatted with fans, and enjoyed his roll.

The smoke effusing roll in the hand of this 28-year-old celebrity dad, who is a father to a four-month-old baby with supermodel wife Gigi Hadid, concerned a lot of his fans as one wrote: “Why is Zayn getting high and blasting lights and music at 6am when he supposedly has a baby in the house?”

While another post read: “Anyway just currently thinking about how Zayn was smoking weed and blasting music at four am with a baby in the house.”

However, R&B artist went on to clarify during the live session that he was indeed smoking a cigarette and not a joint.

“I’ve recorded a sick song today. It might seem a bit weird. I just sat at a computer. I looped four bars. But that’s all I can say. It’s sick, right?”
