2023 Assembly Elections: Priyanka Gandhi to Address Election Rally in Rajasthan’s Jhunjhunu

In the lead-up to the Rajasthan Assembly Elections scheduled for November 25, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is set to address a crucial election rally in Jhunjhunu district. According to Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Priyanka Gandhi is expected to unveil significant announcements related to homemakers during her rally on Wednesday. This marks her second visit to the poll-bound state in just a week, following a public meeting she held in Dausa last Friday.

The anticipation surrounding Priyanka Gandhi’s rally comes amidst a charged political atmosphere. In the midst of the election fervor, allegations and counter-allegations between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress have intensified. Specifically, BJP leaders have accused the Congress party of being ineffective in improving the safety of women in Rajasthan, a claim that has added heat to the electoral battle.

As the election dates draw nearer, both political camps have engaged in verbal sparring, with accusations ranging from corruption to violations of the model code of conduct. The electoral landscape has also been marked by the release of candidate lists. BJP has already released names for 124 out of the 200 seats in the state, while Congress has announced 76 candidates. Notably, both parties are yet to disclose their contenders for the coveted position of chief minister.

The political temperature in Rajasthan is expected to escalate further as Priyanka Gandhi’s rally approaches. With her visit, the Congress party aims to consolidate its position and galvanize public support. The counting of votes for Rajasthan, along with Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and Mizoram, is slated for December 3, setting the stage for a high-stakes political battle in the state. The forthcoming rally is poised to play a significant role in shaping the narrative as the election campaign intensifies in the run-up to the polls.
