7 people killed and many injured after tree falls on tin shed of temple in Maharashtra Akola

New Delhi: Akola district of Maharashtra has suffered heavy damage due to stormy wind and rain. A neem tree fell on the tin shed of Babuji Maharaj temple premises in Paras area of ​​Balapur tehsil. This caused the shed to collapse. After this there was chaos. Many people were buried under the shed. As soon as they saw it, there was an uproar. 30 to 35 people were buried under the tin shed out of which 7 people died and 29 people were seriously injured who are undergoing treatment at Akola Medical College.

On receiving the information, the administration team has reached the spot for rescue work. Along with this, JCB has reached to remove the debris and ambulance has also reached to take the injured to the hospital.

However, strong wind and rain are hampering the rescue work. A large number of people have also gathered at the scene. People are seen wandering here and there in search of their loved ones.

Talking about the weather of the country, the heat has also increased with the increase in temperature in the states of North India. The maximum temperature is being recorded around 38 to 40 degrees in many southern states. The maximum temperature in North India is reaching 36 degrees Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), during the last 24 hours, states like Vidarbha Marathwada and Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Telangana and Kerala have recorded light to moderate rains.
