Lucknow: After the murder of Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf, the government immediately suspended 17 policemen. Many big officials are present at the residence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Raises many serious question marks on the law and order of the UP government and its functioning.”
She further writes, It would be better if the Honorable Supreme Court itself takes cognizance of this very serious and very thought-provoking incident, which is being discussed across the country. Anyway, instead of rule of law by law in Uttar Pradesh, now how appropriate is it to become an encounter state? It is a matter to think about.
