Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Union Home Minister Amit Shah expressed confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA), envisioning a landslide victory with over 400 seats. Shah, contesting from Gujarat’s Gandhinagar constituency, reiterated the BJP’s stronghold, declaring Prime Minister Modi’s unwavering influence with the phrase, “Yaha sirf Modi hi chalta hai” during a spirited roadshow.

Shah’s optimism extended beyond Gujarat, foreseeing gains in southern states like Tamil Nadu and Telangana, alongside ambitious targets in Odisha, where the BJP aims to secure more than 16 out of the total 21 Lok Sabha seats.

Addressing concerns regarding the Rajput community’s sentiment, Shah emphasized Union Minister Parshottam Rupala’s apology, seeking to assuage any discontent within the community. With Shah poised to file his nomination on Friday, the BJP’s campaign in Gujarat signals robust confidence and strategic outreach in the lead-up to the polls.
