Ayodhya Ram Temple : With a significant surge in devotees visiting Ayodhya post the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Shri Ram Lalla and the grand opening, the temple trust has released updated timings for Aarti and Darshan to manage the increased footfall.
The Shringaar Aarti of Ram Lalla will commence at 4:30 am, followed by the Mangala prayer at 6:30 am. Darshan for devotees will be permitted from 7 am after the morning prayer. The bhog prayer is scheduled at noon, evening Aarti at 7:30 pm, and the evening offering prayer at 8 pm. The last prayer of the day, Shayan Aarti, will take place at 10 pm, as shared by Sharad Sharma, Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s provincial spokesperson.
The city witnessed a notable surge in devotion as devotees queued up for a glimpse of Ram Lalla. The heightened excitement and fervor were evident among both local residents and visiting devotees.
Security measures have been intensified in Ayodhya following an estimated 5 lakh devotees on the first day of darshan. Approximately 1,000 security personnel, including Rapid Action Force (RAF) jawans, have been deployed inside and outside the temple premises to ensure the safety and convenience of devotees.
Apart from the Ram Temple, the adjacent Hanuman Garhi Temple also witnessed a substantial influx of devotees. Thousands offered laddus to Lord Hanuman, fostering a celebratory atmosphere as ‘prasad’ was shared among the devotees.
The festivities in Ayodhya are set to escalate further with the International Ramayan Utsav organized by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations and the International Ramayan and Vedic Research Institute Department of Culture, Uttar Pradesh. Representatives from countries including Sri Lanka, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Mauritius, and Laos will participate in the event scheduled from January 24-28 at Ram Katha Park and Tulsi Udyan in Ayodhya.
