In his address, Hooda emphasized the need to scrutinize the performance and achievements of the BJP-led government, which has now completed nearly a decade in Haryana. According to Hooda, a comparative analysis reveals a fivefold increase in debt, a fourfold rise in inflation, threefold surge in unemployment, and a twofold spike in crime during the tenures of the BJP and BJP-JJP governments.

Accusing the BJP-JJP coalition of neglecting public concerns, Hooda asserted that Haryana, once a leader in per capita income, investment, law and order, and employment during the Congress regime, has now taken the top spot in unemployment, crime, corruption, and drug-related issues.

He alleged that a growing number of young people are falling victim to drug addiction and involvement in criminal activities due to the lack of opportunities in Haryana.

During the Congress’ tenure, Hooda pointed out the establishment of six medical colleges, a National Cancer Institute, and other healthcare facilities. In contrast, he criticized the present government for its alleged failure to provide adequate medical resources.

Turning to the education sector, Hooda claimed that while the Congress government set up 12 state-run universities, the BJP-JJP government opted to close 5,000 government schools instead of investing in new educational institutions.

This campaign launch event serves as a platform for Hooda to present his vision for Haryana’s future, emphasizing the party’s commitment to addressing pressing issues and contrasting it with the perceived shortcomings of the current administration.
