Big respite to Delhiites from heatwave as incessant heavy rainfall batter Delhi-NCR

The weather patterns have changed in Delhi also. After enduring the scorching heat, it has been raining heavily in Delhi since Friday morning. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain in Delhi for the next few days.

New Delhi: Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) received continuous rain accompanied by thunderstorm and strong winds in the early hours of Friday. The torrential rains provided much-needed respite from the recent scorching heat.

Monsoon has arrived in the country’s capital Delhi, western Uttar Pradesh, Noida, Ghaziabad and Meerut. It is raining heavily in Delhi since today (Friday) morning. Due to heavy rains, roads in many areas have been flooded. With this rain, Delhiites have got relief from the humid heat. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert in many states for the next 3-4 days.

Monsoon has arrived in Delhi. People have got relief from the scorching heat due to rain in Delhi on Friday morning. Heavy rains along with winds of 30 to 40 km per hour have changed the mood of the weather. People have got a lot of relief from the heat due to rain in entire western Uttar Pradesh including Delhi and Noida.

IMD issued alert
According to the information from the Meteorological Department, it is likely to remain cloudy the whole day today. It has been raining heavily with thunder and lightning in Delhi NCR since morning. Apart from this, IMD has issued a yellow alert of rain till July 3 with the possibility of heavy rain in Delhi on June 29 and 30
